The mecha spore crawler was a Mecha Swarm structure created by Egon Stetmann during the End War. It served as an anti-air base defense and detection measure for his hive clusters, functioning similar to the zerg spore crawler in most regards.[1]
Game Structure[]
The mecha spore crawler is a anti-air defensive structure available to Stetmann in Co-op Missions. It functions much the same as a normal spore crawler, though mechanical and with a faster movement speed when unburrowed. Mecha spore crawlers can be made and root outside of creep and egonergy fields.
Mecha spore crawlers will burn down when put below 1/4th health like terran structures, but can be repaired by mecha drones.
Abilities[]
This unit or structure can detect cloaked, burrowed, duplicated and hallucination enemies.
Crawlers can uproot themselves and move about, and can plant themselves back down on any location. Crawlers cannot attack while uprooted.
