Mendella's ruins
Mendella was a mostly underground protoss settlement on Aiur.
History[]
Ancient History[]
During the Aeon of Strife, the original underground settlement was flooded when warring tribes deliberately destroyed a nearby reservoir in an attempt to drown their enemies.
In more modern times, the ruins became a proving ground for promising Templar warriors.
Modern History[]
During the zerg invasion of Aiur, a nest from the Baelrog Brood settled into the resource-rich isle of Brushfire over the ruins, and only a combined force of protoss and terran troops was able to remove the infestation.
Game Map[]
The ruins of Mendella are featured in a StarCraft multiplayer map called Brushfire.
