Micky Neilson was the publishing lead for Blizzard Entertainment.[1][2] He has written numerous works for StarCraft and Warcraft and outlined numerous stories for manga series of both medias.[3] He has also written for Blizzard's Diablo, Overwatch, and Lost Vikings settings.
Alongside James Waugh, he wrote numerous outlines for the StarCraft: Frontline series and passed them off to authors.[4] Neilson also wrote the unit lines for Warcraft III and StarCraft II.[5]
Neilson left Blizzard in March, 2016, to work on personal writing projects. However, he will continue to do freelance work for Blizzard.[6] As of October 2020, he is collaborating with Frost Giant Studios on the lore of Stormgate,[7] along with writing unit lines.[5]
