The mutation chamber

The mutation chamber was a zerg structure in the StarCraft beta. Its wireframe is identical to that of the defiler mound though its in-game appearance is unique.

An earlier version of the defiler mound's sprite was named "mutation pit", shortened to "muta pit" as a placeholder. The two structures may have been related.

The greater spire used "muta chamber" as a placeholder name.
