"Night Wolves, you have your orders: remove the zerg threat."

The Night Wolves are an elite banshee unit in the Dominion Armed Forces. During the Second Great War, they served in Emperor Arcturus Mengsk's Royal Guard.

History[]

When Sarah Kerrigan landed outside the gates of Augustgrad and began attacking the Drakken defense network, Emperor Arcturus Mengsk ordered the Night Wolves to remove the zerg threat. They, along with Sky Fury Squadron, ultimately failed to stop Kerrigan from destroying the planet's defense network and establishing a foothold in the city.[1]

The Night Wolves later attempted to defend Mengsk's palace from the Swarm and Raynor's Raiders. During the battle, several Night Wolves accompanied Sky Fury Squadron in a failed attempt to destroy the Hyperion. Ultimately the Swarm and the Raiders triumphed over the Royal Guard and brought Mengsk's reign to an end.[2]
