The Nydus Brood was an offshoot of Amon's Brood, deployed during the End War. It focused on ground-based compositions, and deployed mighty ultralisks as well as zerg strains that were evolved between the Brood War and Second Great War.

Game Effect

The Nydus Brood appears in Co-op Missions as a potential attack wave Amon can send against the player. They can deploy one of two compositions, one based off of ground forces from StarCraft (zerglings, hydralisks, lurkers, brood queens, and ultralisks), and one based off of more modern broods (zerglings, roaches, ravagers, hydralisks, lurkers, infestors, and ultralisks).
