Certain people, from a real-world sense, are noteworthy enough to have articles created for them. These can be broadly divided between Blizzard Entertainment personnel, and individuals involved in fan works.
Blizzard Personnel[]
Articles for Blizzard personnel are permissable, provided that the individual in question has at least some relevance to the StarCraft franchise, whether it be through gameplay, story, or related aspects. Articles may also be created for members of Blizzard who, while not linked to StarCraft specifically, are/were in positions that they are relevant to the development of the franchise as a whole.
Modders and Other Fans[]
Notability of maps, videos, and other works are covered in the site's fan content policy. Concerning specific individuals however, the wiki is more restrained. Such individuals are allowed articles if:
- The individual has created at least two distinct works that have been spotlighted by Blizzard Entertainment only.
- The individual himself/herself has been directly referenced in at least one of those spotlights.
- All information pertaining to the individual is sourced, and remains neutral.
