Point defense missiles were projectiles fired by Amon's Forces at enemies during the End War. They did not do any direct damage, but rather deflected projectiles from itself and nearby missiles.[1]
Game Unit[]
Point defense missiles appear in the Co-op Missions mutator "Missile Command." They do not do direct damage, rather serve as point defense drones, deflecting projectiles in a radius around it. Players can either try to overwhelm the missile with mass projectiles, or use units such as marines with no projectile attack. When nuclear missiles spawn, they are accompanied by four point defense missiles.[1]
Abilities[]
Deploys a drone which intercepts missiles and projectile shots, such as those fired by missile turrets. It cannot stop special attacks.
