Polaris Prime was a space station designed as a diplomatic enclave.
History[]
Polaris Prime was built with the intention of allowing ambassadors from different factions to patch together their differences in a peaceful manner. The station consisted of two central meeting areas in the main platform and six separate rooms, suited to the needs of the ambassadors and their staff. Polaris Prime gained a reputation as a haven for individuals dedicated to peace.
At some point the station was caught in the path of the Zerg Swarm, falling against the invaders it was abandoned by its occupants. Some time later, the species that created the station returned with the intent of seizing the main platform, sparking a conflict.

The space station serves as a multiplayer map in StarCraft, supporting up to six players.

- The station is likely named after the star Polaris, more commonly known as the North Star.
- Though featured with a description on the StarCraft Compendium Map Archives, this map can be found in the "ladder" folder of an installation of StarCraft. Its internal description is "It's a race to the main platform...".
