Ragay was a member of Alpha Squadron, seemingly serving as the captain of the Mammoth-class carrier Trillium. Roughly two months after the fall of the Terran Confederacy, he was sent as part of a small Alpha Squadron fleet to Char, under the command of General Edmund Duke. Unfortunately, the deployment did not go well and to make matters worse, the zerg commandeered a number of shuttles, gaining access to the Trillium from the inside.

Ragay called Duke for reinforcements, but the ship was overrun and Ragay killed along with the rest of his crew.
