Rescue One was the callsign of a Dominion medivac dropship. It was piloted by Captain Niemi, with Ensign Wallace serving as co-pilot.[1]
History[]
In 2506, after the End War, Rescue One was sent to Bel'Shir accompanied by two vikings as part of a mission to retrieve missing scientist Egon Stetmann. Upon emerging from warp space above the planet, the ships were immediately attacked by Tal'darim phoenixes. In the ensuing space battle, Rescue One was hit. They were forced to make a forced landing while the other vikings jumped out of the system.
The trio (Niemi, Wallace, and their ghost passenger found Stetmann, who, after some convincing, ordered Gary to fix the dropship.[2]
Gary ended up assisting Stetmann's Mecha Swarm against a Tal'darim base, while Niemi and Wallace worked on getting the ship repaired. They successfully left the planet, having successfully extracted Stetmann.[3]
