Rob Pardo was vice president of game design at Blizzard Entertainment.
Biography[]
Pardo was a former member of Interplay. He was hired by Mike Morhaime during the development of StarCraft to work on the game as a playtester, as he was known as a top-knotch RTS player.[1] Amongst many other games, he worked on the design and game balance[2] of StarCraft and was the lead designer of StarCraft: Brood War.
Pardo left Blizzard in 2014.[3] In 2016, he founded Bonfire Studios, working with other fellow former Blizzard staff members.[4]

In 2006, he was named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.[5]
