"Rook" was the nickname of a terran marine who served in Charlie Squad, part of Omega Squadron.
In 2502, Rook was part of a Dominion Marine Corps force dispatched to Artika, doing battle against the zerg. As part of the first wave, Rook and the rest of Charlie Squad secured the landing zone, defeating the zerg sent against them and moving on to the secondary objective. Rook was thrown to the ground by Jin-ho Lim after a nearby siege tank exploded.
The entirely of Charlie Squadron was killed in the battle.[2]
