Russell was a terran munitions worker who worked in the Umojan Protectorate factory of Spearpoint Base on Aeneas. He was a friend of Frank, though he told Caleb that he was untrustworthy.

One evening however Russel was ambushed by a renegade Nerazim, who tore his chest cavity open. The scream alerted the base to come and find his mangled body. His death sparked a deep investigation into potential espionage at the bas, and a deep look into the newly arrived factory workers.
