Saalok's Eye is a Daelaam carrier. It was commanded by Admiral Urun sometime after the Defenders of Man Insurgency.[1]

History[]

The Saalok's Eye was sent to the demilitarized zone between Daelaam and Terran Dominion space when a group of Terran Dominion soldiers arrived in orbit of the planet Adena aboard the battlecruiser Aethon. Admiral Urun noted that though they claimed to be under orders to salvage these outposts they had not detected any long range transmissions from the ship. Nonetheless they let the terrans land on the planet.[1]

The terrans were attacked by the Niadra Brood, and after one dropship attempted to escape the planet with a marine housing a zerg larva inside, the Saalok's Eye shot it down.[2]

The Terran Dominion renegades then fired on the carrier, and Urun ordered all phoenixes, interceptors and scouts to engage while he took a force to Adena's surface.[3]

As the conflict escalated, the Saalok's Eye was forced to abandon the system.[4]

The resulting battle left a debris field above Adena where the carrier had once been.

The survivors aboard the carrier returned to protoss space, telling their brethren of the death of Urun and of the terrans who violated the DMZ. As a result, Artanis cancelled peace talks with the Terran Dominion.[5]

Notes[]

The Saalok's Eye is likely named after Saalok, the moon of Aiur.
