Sagaya was a Nerazim stalker and commander of the Daelaam. He served in the One-Day War.

In the early stages of the conflict, Sagaya was chief ground-force commander for the Daelaam forces on Gystt. When his forces moved to the second adostra nest, they were ambushed by a large zerg brood under the control of the chitha. Sagaya's Stalker body was heavily damaged in the fighting and the he was rendered unconscious.

Though support came in from Terran Dominion forces under Colonel Abram Cruikshank, the zerg tide was still too substantial. Cruikshank initially thought that the Nerazim was dead already, but his presence woke Sagaya and they managed to hold a brief tactical conversation. Cruikshank offered help but Sagaya's Stalker frame was unable to operate and the Nerazim himself was too badly injured.

Allowing Cruikshank to retreat, Sagaya ordered a nearby disruptor be detonated, which destroyed both the zerg attackers and the adostra nest. Sagaya was killed in the blast, and only three of his warriors survived. His second in command, Commander Rahas, replaced him.
