In "The Essence of Eternity," Kerrigan is immobile and rapidly regenerates HP if damaged. Her attack is Celestial beam, which has 100 range and deals 330 damage a second. Using the beam stops the power transfer to Kerrigan while she is attacking, stalling the mission's completion.
In the final mission "Amon's Fall," Kerrigan is controlled in her ascended form. She is a very powerful hero unit with a multitude of abilities, but can still be overwhelmed by significant numbers, particularly constructs. If killed, she respawns at the main hatchery in 60 seconds.
Currently, there is a glitch where Kerrigan will not respawn if she is in the process of rejuvenating when the player's initial base is destroyed by Amon.
In addition to the following abilities on her command card, Kerrigan is able to move up and down cliffs, and her attacks have a Chain Reaction-like effect to strike multiple nearby enemies, dealing full damage to them.
Quantum Ray
Kerrigan fires a beam of energy at target enemy unit or structure, dealing 1000 damage.
Friendly zerg units and structures gain 30% attack speed and +0.8202 HP regeneration on creep. Creep tumors spread creep twice as fast and 3 units further.
Kerrigan has more finished abilities in the map editor. Heavenly Strike is a stronger version of her Leaping Strike ability; Kerrigan leaps to the target point, dealing 400 damage to a nearby enemy on impact, and it has 16 range, significantly greater than Leaping Strike. Astral Shift is a stronger version of Psionic Shift where Kerrigan charges forward, dealing 100 damage to enemies in her way and leaving trails of energy behind her that deal additional damage over time to nearby enemies. Incomplete abilities include Quantum Blast, a different ability from Quantum Ray that is a stronger version of Kinetic Blast, dealing 500 damage to a target enemy from long range. Another unfinished ability is Strike Ground, whose effects are unknown, but its related assets imply it was a stronger version of Apocalypse.[1]
