Science Station 12 was a terran installation on Aridas. It was used by Jenson Archimedes and his scientists to research the Argus Stone during the Terran Dominion's operation to retrieve the stone.
During the fighting on the planet between the Zerg Crusaders, Protoss Crusaders and Terran Dominion, the zerg overwhelmed the installation's defenses in response to the destruction of a cerebrate. The base went into emergency lockdown. A Terran Dominion commander was sent to evacuate the base's scientists. The operation was successful.
