Simon & Schuster is a very large book publisher owned by CBS. Its imprint Pocket Star, a division of Pocket Books, publishes StarCraft universe softcover novels. Another imprint, Gallery Books, prints larger hardcover books.

It used to have a division called Simon & Schuster Interactive, which employed StarCraft II lead designer Dustin Browder early in his career.
