The Protoss Soul Hunter is a ranged Protoss infantry unit in StarCraft II. It rides on a hovering platform and wields a large ranged weapon which fires arcing electricity. Many fans believe the unit resembles the Vindicator from StarCraft: Ghost.
Strong against biological units and buildings, the Soul Hunter is weak against robotic units. Against biological units, the Soul Hunter becomes stronger the more biological units it kills (anything Zerg or Terran infantry), allowing it to fire more beams (up to three) and thus do more damage.
