The Sovereign-class battlecruiser is a class of battlecruiser that was fielded by the Dominion Fleet during the End War. They were part of the elite of the Dominion Fleet, and were augmented with mercenary technology from Mira's Marauders, overcharging their reactors to allow them to use a miniature yamato cannon.[1]

The Sovereign battlecruiser is exclusive to Matt Horner in Co-op Missions. They are tougher than regular battlecruisers, and can be called down from the Dominion starport anywhere where there's vision. With its ATX laser batteries equipped, the Soverign battlecruiser can fire while moving. These ships can be upgraded to change its weapons to a burst weapon, dealing heavy damage to larger targets like hybrids. Sovereign battlecruisers can switch between the two modes to fight enemies as needed. Sovereign battlecruisers can also tactical jump, and unlike the other Horner ships can do it without research.
