Spore host concept art
The spore host,[1] or spore beast,[2] was a scrapped unit concept for the zerg in StarCraft II. It appeared to be a flying creature with bulbous sacs on its back. An unfinished model was left in the map editor for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.[3] The placeholder name suggests the unit served a role as artillery.
