StarJeweled is a StarCraft II map. It was published in April 2011.[1]
The game that combines match puzzle gameplay with tug-of-war style combat.[2]
Each successfully matched jewel combination provides a burst of energy; the larger the jewel combo, the bigger the energy burst. This energy can be spent to train a variety of units, including zealots, Banshees and ultralisks, which will help eliminate an opponent's defenses. The player can also use energy to cast spells that heal friendly targets and do damage to enemy units. To activate a unit or spell once enough energy has been gained, click on the corresponding icon located beneath the jewel board.[3] These units are sent against the enemy's base.[4]
A game of StarJeweled consists of a maximum of five rounds. Each round will continue until one player's or team's base is destroyed. Whoever has won the majority of these rounds wins the game.[3]
In addition, marines will spawn from each side to attack the players for every group of jewels a player matches.[2]
