Stone Zealots are powerful stone statues of zealots used by the Tal'darim to defend an alien artifact on Monlyth.
The stone zealots have eyebeam weapons which resemble those of the colossus, though stone zealots can also attack air units. Despite having height similar to that of the colossus, stone zealots cannot be targeted by anti-air attacks.
They look like normal zealot statues before being activated.[1]
Heroes of the Storm[]
The following section contains information from Heroes of the Storm and is not canon to StarCraft continuity
|
The stone zealots appeared in Heroes of the Storm as some sort of a "boss" that, when defeated, fought on the side of the players that defeated them. They outranged towers, forcing the other side's heroes to target them fast.[2][3]
Notes[]
The stone zealots do not possess unit portraits.[1]
Their quotations indicate they are Templar loyal to Aiur, yet they serve the Tal'darim. The voice lines are found only in the map editor. In Smash and Grab they never speak.
