Strike fighter is a terran air interdiction unit fielded by Matt Horner and the Dominion Fleet during the End War against Amon, serving as tactical bombers. They were stored and resupplied at strike fighter platforms.
Game Unit Edit
Strike fighters are automatically generated by
strike fighter platforms, and enable the use of the Precision Strike global ability. While untargetable, they do have health and can be destroyed, and will take time to regenerate if they are shot down. Each strike fighter has 50 HP. 10 strike fighters may be fielded at a time.
Upgrades and Abilities Edit
Launches the Strike Fighter to the target location, where it deals 175 (+225 to non-Heroic structures) damage to enemy ground units in radius 1.5. Requires a
strike fighter platform.
Mastery: increases to Precision Strike splash radius by +0.015 per Mastery point. (up to a maximum 1.95 splash radius)
Reach Han and Horner Level 2
Precision Strikes ignite the target location with napalm. Enemies units that touch the napalm take an additional 100 damage over 10 seconds.
