I don't know if this is worth mentioning (maybe only in the trivia section), but I recognize a lot of principles in Bountiful that correlate specifically with the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). For example, the studies of heritage (the Mormons have the largest genealogical database in existence), the patriarchs (a position in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints), and finally, the names: Zarahemla and Bountiful being the names of cities in the Book of Mormon and Helaman being the name of a Book of Mormon prophet and millitary leader not to mention a book within the Book of Mormon. For what it's worth, Boutiful is also a city in Utah. 24.119.217.230 15:42, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

That is an awesome find. (I wonder if Hickman is a Mormon, or knows some?) Kimera 757 (talk) 22:35, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, Hickman is a Mormon. You can actually find that info here on the wiki. 174.45.59.8 15:34, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

Bountiful is definitely mentioned in the news broadcast after Media Blitz, in the news ticker that scrolls across the bottom of the screen. (This doesn't conclusively answer whether it exists or not or whether it is the same planet, although at this point UNN is actively reporting at odds with the Dominion's interests. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a screenshot for citation purposes. Is there a way to view past news broadcasts in the game, or would I have to play the mission again? If you're talking about the newscast within the cinematic, just watch Hearts and Minds again. Otherwise you might have to replay the entire campaign! PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 21:40, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
