Talk: Corruptor

Given there is concept art depicting the corruptor as a land unit, does anyone think it may be possible that a land version could appear in the campaign or map editor?[[Special:Contributions/72.141.217.254|72.141.217.254]] 17:40, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

We've had next to no opportunity to see hero units in combat. (I think we've seen a hero unit only once.) I figure the answer would be yes; it's fair, since the corruptors have to kill the hero unit before they can corrupt it. However, we don't know for sure. == Ground-based Corruptor Actually Early Infestor ==

Given the similar concepts between the Corruptor and the Infestor, is it possible that the ground-based Corruptor concept art is actually the original art idea for the Infestor? When they came up with the Corruptor, they may have felt the art suited it better, and created the 'mushroom' look for the Infestor either as a replacement or a placeholder. ==Beta Information==
From what I have seen in the beta, the corruptor no longer corrupts units directly. The article mentions some spells that the corruptor was given and one of them is a spell called Corrupt. This spell makes buildings stop functioning for a given time period. The article should probably be updated with this information, which should be easy to find by searching around a bit.

The beta players (eg myself) need to be able to play the game without playing the game. (Confusing? In short, we need two beta players to play "against" each other, but write stats instead. Until that's been arranged, it's very difficult to collect stats.)
