Death[]

Could someone get a picture of the unit model? The explanation of existence of the model may be explained very simple: he dies in one of the expansion packs. Also, he could be a robot created by the Terran Dominion to stop Kate Lockwell from releasing anti-Dominion informations, but that would be unlikely. Andra2404 17:03, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Here you go. I think it's an easter egg. Why would the Dominion use an android when they have plenty fanatic followers and if they did why would it suddenly malfunction so obviously? And if they deemed Lockwell as a threat from the beginning on why didn't they just arrange an "accident"?. The Kate Lockwell model also only consist of the upper half of her body since her legs are never shown on the Tv. Elchwyn 15:32, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it may be an easter egg. Andra2404 15:49, August 9, 2010 (UTC)

Trivia[]

It's possible that Donny Vermillion is based on the character Ron Burgandy from Anchorman. Ron being short for Ronald, Donny being short for Donald, and both Burgandy and Vermillion both being similar variations of the color red. They even share the same dark red jackets, blue and white striped ties, and the signature mustache. - Special:Contributions/72.84.251.158

End of an Era/Notes[]

Well, has anyone realized that since Media Blitz is optional, we don't truly know the reason for why Donny Vermillion gone mad ? If he didn't know what happened in Tarsonis, why would he go to a mental institution ? Andra2404 09:23, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

Just watched that video again on 2nd playthrough, and I was wondering: has anybody ever reached this point of the game without playing Media Blitz, to check if the video come up or not in this case?
I don't think Blizzard would be that thorough with story details, but I'm still asking just in case?

Is he still the voice actor for Donny Vermillion in Co-op[]

The place I hear Donny Vermillion the most is in co-op.
Recently, I was watching a playthrough of a Spiderman game on PS5, and thought I recognized his voice (and even mannerisms, but that's off-topic) in J Jonah Jameson.
After looking around, it seems like the voice actor for JJJ is Darin De Paul rather than Blair Bess.
Seeing on imdb that he starred in Overwatch (meaning ties with Blizzard), I looked around a bit more, and saw that for Legacy of the Void, he's credited on imdb for "additional voices", while Blair Bess isn't in that list.
Could it be that the voice actor in The Vermillion Problem is really Darin De Paul?
