Kerrigan's Limitations on Re-asserting Control[]
What are Kerrigan's limitations on taking control of Feral Zerg?
There's plenty of places in Heart of the Swarm where she takes control of Feral Zerg, but in plenty of other places, it seems as if she can't take control of other Feral Zerg for unexplained reasons.
For example, on Astrid III, she instantly takes control of the Feral Hive that evolved to spawn Swarmlings in order to gain access to that genetic material after Abathur informed her of it. (How did Abathur even know that when they were Ferals?)
However, at Sigma Centari, Cavir, and Marek V, Kerrigan couldn't directly take control of the specific Feral Zerg that contained the essence she wanted, and had to control other Zerg to collect it.
Do we know why she is limited in some ways but not others? Or is any answer going to be pretty much just speculation? --Shadow Archon (talk) 02:05, May 27, 2015 (UTC)
