What are the stats of Gantrithor? Shouldn't this page have a unit box as well, like Wise Old Torrasque and such other hero units?

It should. I'll have to look them up sometime. PsiSeveredHead 16:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

"Super Carrier"Edit

What's a, "heavily armed super carrier?" Darth Revan 5873 14:48, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Darth Revan 5873

From the StarCraft II official carrier article, it's a "heroic carrier". Of course, in-game, the Gantrithor was just a Carrier with better defenses. Kimera 757 (talk) 14:57, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Gantrithor at Char Edit

On the one hand, the mission begins "Protoss Command Ship Gantrithor Holding orbit over the planet Char ". On the other hand, QoB says otherwise, since Daggoth's ships went to destroy the illusions, and Twilight has the ship there too. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 20:08, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

I checked Twilight on this matter and it doesn't cover Gantrithor's fate between Tassadar's forces defeat by Kerrigan and Artanis' arrival to arrest Tassadar. QoB doesn't even have the word "Gantrithor" anywhere in it and is completely unclear about the fate of Tassadar's command ship. So, the opening picture of The Hunt for Tassadar is the most reliable source we have. And it does identifies the place of mission's briefing (in which Aldaris says "now we're going to find and arrest Tassadar") as Gantrithor (all the opening pictures in the missions identify the places of each missions briefing: for instance, when it says "UED flagship Aleksander" the briefing is given by Stukov/DuGalle, etc.). Twilight P. 90, Tassadar meets Kerrigan on Char, so obviously he's landed there. P. 91: "For a long time, I was not permitted to leave the Gantrithor, because of possible danger from the dark templar." So, Zamara's on Char, stuck in the Gantrithor. For what you said to make sense, the Gantrithor had to leave after Zeratul and Tassadar met up, go to Aiur, then come back carrying Artanis and Aldaris... that's a contradiction. The storyline wouldn't make sense. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 00:52, January 1, 2011 (UTC)

It makes a lot of sense (and is obvious from opening image of The Hunt for Tassadar), because the fact that Zamara was stuck at the Gantrithor doesn't really contradict anything. I'm implying that Gantrithor retrned back to Aiur some time after Kerrigan decimating Tassadar's and Zeratul's armies (i.e. after Eye for an Eye). It fits perfectly with the fact that Zamara was on Char for some time (since the Gantrithor itself indeed was on Char for some time). And it is directly said at the start of The Hunt for Tassadar that the mission briefing takes place aboard Gantrthor, which is "Protoss Command Ship", so obviously Aldaris and Artanis arrived at Char on Gantrithor.
