It never said Mar Sara was re-settled by the Dominion. In any event, the mysterious refinery will probably be moot soon. PsiSeveredHead 11:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Retcon regarding destruction[]

In StarCraft: Liberty's Crusade the destruction of Mar Sara is described at the end of chapter eight. It only describes two ships, the Carriers and the 'moths' that attend them. I took this to mean the Interceptors, but it may have also meant other smaller ships like the Scouts. The beam that incinerated Mar Sara is described as coming from hatchways on the bottoms of the larger ships (probably the Carriers). Now the new units seem to be being retconned into the old story, as in StarCraft: Frontline: Thundergod a flashback of the event shows Motherships planet cracking the planet. Should this discrepancy be noted, or be reconciled?--Sandwichman2449 22:46, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Unfortunately, novels aren't a good source of unit information. They are often quite out of date. (For instance, in Frontline: Why We Fight, the StarCraft I version of the queen is present.) However, Blizzard did suggest (in a round-about way) that the energy beam gave them the idea for the mothership.

I don't think Mar Sara is the right page to discuss this. Try purification instead (you would need to make a notes section). It's rumored that a carrier made the final attack on Braxis. Kimera 757 (talk) 23:28, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Should I copy this or move it then?--Sandwichman2449 00:44, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

No need. I was just thinking, if you wanted to put the info itself in the Mar Sara article, it's better off in the purification article. Kimera 757 (talk) 01:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
