Trivia[]
It may be a coincidence that the Mar Sara Colonial Militia uses blue as it's main color like English colonial militia, but I don't see why that's a reason to remove that tidbit from the trivia section. --Need a light? Try Jesus, the Light of the World 03:55, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
- Trivia sections are not exempt from the principle of notability (although the very nature of trivia makes determining notability in these cases fuzzy).
- In this case, unless it can be shown that Blizzard drew significant inspiration from said English colonial militia when choosing the colour, that factoid is not notable.
- In my view, this is not a case where it is obvious that Blizzard is paying "homage" to some real world thing in particular. - Meco (talk, contribs) 04:34, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with Meco. Blue is often the de facto colour for Blizzard's RTS games in regards to the human side-it was the case for the Warcraft games for humans/Alliance and via SC1 and 2, terrans as well. I think it's a trend that could be noted in the Warcraft article in regards to the 'blue bias,' but not really worth mentioning in this article as the human/Alliance forces were full fledged armies in lore.--Hawki 07:55, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
Well, I've been called on speculations on a few occasions, thus I don't want to get in trouble for such things. Alockwood1 22:36, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
