Um...AoE is not splash damage. AoE would be a spell that affects an area (Dark Swarm, Psi Storm, Ensnare, EMP Shockwave, etc.), possibly damaging it. Units like the Reaver, Firebat, and Lurker do splash damage - with their main attack. -rayluT 17:28, 17 October 2006 (PDT)

Starcraft II[]

Which Starcraft II units do splash damage?(Assaulthead 23:00, 2 October 2007 (UTC))

Plasma Turrets and other special abilities are not treated as splash damage. PsiSeveredHead 13:25, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

On units[]

Splash damage is listed 2 different ways on units, some have the s after the base damage and some have it after the bonus damage, which way should it be? Note: Colossus doesn't have the s by its attack. Zeta1127 of the 89th Legion (talk) 03:47, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

It should probably be after. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) contribs) 11:25, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

Splash damage is now listed after the bonus damage on all units with splash damage, with the exception of the Reaver's scarabs because of the damage upgrade. Note: Mutalisk in SC doesn't list the damage on the Glaive Wurm bounces, but the SC2 one does. Zeta1127 of the 89th Legion (talk) 17:31, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

Widow Mine Splash Damage[]

I managed to successfully test the Widow Mine's splash damage! :) I concluded that the Widow Mines WILL injure friendly forces, EXCEPT for itself or other Widow Mines. Friendly Widow Mines are immune to the splash damage whether burrowed or not. Here's a ~30-second clip I recorded with Fraps if you care to see the proof, but I don't think it's important enough (or high-enough quality) to embed/link on the actual Splash Damage page. I'm also going to put this same message/video link in the discussion on the Widow Mine page; I'll let some more experienced user decide where & how to format this information. 128.193.251.238 22:37, January 11, 2014 (UTC)
