question regarding unlocking portraits and achievements[]
Say someone completes the entire campaign on brutal on his/her first go at the game. Does that unlock all the portraits (kerrigan, warfield, raynor etc.) as well as the mission achievements (hard 10, brutal 10 etc.)? Brainwasher5 02:47, October 3, 2010 (UTC)

- Well, yes. Playing on brutal difficulty won't automatically unlock all the "special" objectives, but it will unlock all the related corresponding achievements that require a lower difficulty. So for example completing the campaign on Liberty Completionist: Hard will also unlock Liberty Completionist: Normal, but not Liberty Completionist: Brutal. - Master Mechanic would require multiple playthroughs or save states since the campaign does not reward enough credits to purchase every upgrade and mercenary at once. Wil1 23:33, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
