The tempest wasn't any weaker when it ATTACKED air units, only when it defended against them. In which case it still had quite a bit of HP. Shields aren't everything...--207.112.43.171 13:02, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

- Hard to say. Certainly as a game unit IMO (the oracle taking the place of the mothership as a unit IMO), but in lore, it could go either way. I'd wager that carriers will still appear in the campaigns of HotS and/or LotV, but it's already been hinted it's an aging ship of sorts, in that in-universe, terrans have speculated that the void ray could replace the carrier as the Great Fleet's flagship.--Hawki 04:58, November 16, 2011 (UTC)
