"Even in the far flung future of 2504, Level 800 Elite Tauren Chieftain is still 'terran up the night."

Terran Up the Night is a song by Level 800 Elite Tauren Chieftain, and part of the musical album of the same name. It was published by Dilling HoloPublishing, Inc. and released in 2504.[1] According to music critic Humbert H., it is the most recorded song in history.[2]

Game Effect[]

Terran Up the Night is a real-world song, written by Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain, a band made of Blizzard employees. It is their first song inspired by the StarCraft universe and was first performed at the World Wide Invitational in Paris on 29 June 2008.

In StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, the song is played in the end credits, and as an unlockable track on the jukebox in the cantina after beating the Wings of Liberty campaign once. Finding the level secret in the mission "Zero Hour", or using the cheat code "overengineeredcodpiece" unlocks the track.[3]

The song is on the Revolution Overdrive: Songs of Liberty album which was available during BlizzCon 2010, and may also be purchased on iTunes.[2]

"Go go go!

Rock and Roll!
The smell of rusty metal, dead zerg and napalm,
The sound of friggin' laser beams and Gatling guns.
Strapped into powered armor,
I got the ladies always looking at me,
They can't believe the size of my over-engineered codpiece.

Well, I'm a convict
In the siege tank I ride
I'm not protossin', not zergin',
No, you know I'm terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
Terran up the night! (Alright!)

Don't want no shiny protoss flying machines,
I'd rather have a clunky, funky, rusty SCV,
Strap yourselves in girls,
We're gonna soar across the stars!
'Cause when you've got a battlecruiser,
Hell, who needs a car?

Well, I'm a convict
In the siege tank I ride
I'm not protossin', not zergin',
No, you know I'm terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
We're terran up the night! (That's right!)

(Hell, yeah!)

You come in peace, well I come in war,
I'm counting corpses, And I hate counting in score
When the protoss charge and the zerg start to swarm,
I don't want no Zeus, I want my Thor!
(Yeah!)

We've got our own transformer,
The rough and tough Viking.
He can fly and he doesn't cry like that little wuss, Starscream
We never served a king, no,
We never served no lord,
But if we lived in Azeroth, honey
You know we'd join the Horde! (Yeah!)

Well, I'm a convict
In the siege tank I ride
I'm not protossin', not zergin',
You know I'm terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
Terran up the night!
Terran up the night! (That's right! Yeah!)

Terran up the night!
Terran up the night!

We're terran up the night! (Alright! All night!)"
