Thérèse was a terran who lived on Tarsonis. It appears that she was a member of the Old Families, or at least associated with them.
Zeb Terra of the Terra Family was infatuated with Thérèse and was plucking up the courage to ask her to the ball that the d'Arbanville Family was going to hold. However, he was killed in a terrorist attack before he could do so.
