Torrent was a terran marine who served in Charlie Squad as part of Omega Squadron.

Sometime after the Brood War, Torrent was part of a Dominion Marine Corps force dispatched to Artika, doing battle against the zerg. As part of the first wave, Torrent and the rest of Charlie Squad secured the landing zone, defeating the zerg sent against them and moving on to the secondary objective. However, they were set upon by a group of Dark Templar. A scanner sweep from a ComSat station eventually revealed them but Torrent had been killed by this point.[2]
