Trevor Jacobs is an artist/animator at Blizzard Entertainment, and one of its earliest artists.
Jacobs originally worked in a sign shop, hand-cutting wood and foam letters. He later joined Blizzard, and worked on the original StarCraft. One of his responsibilities was to produce concept art for all the terran buildings. He drew three or four pages of structures; the team cut and pasted the ones they liked.[1]
He later worked on StarCraft II as an animator.[2]
Trivia[]
The firebat Trevor Jacobs may be named after him.
