Triticale-wheat is a type of terran crop. Triticale is a hybrid between wheat and rye, and so this crop is presumably a further refined hybrid of triticale and wheat. It is grown on agricultural worlds such as Bhekar Ro[1] and Shiloh[2] and harvested by robo-harvesters.[1]
Mutated triticale-wheat on Bhekar Ro became host to spore plague infection, a flesh eating fungal disease that broke out on Free Haven in 2498.[1]
