Twitch was a Space Pirate working for the Kimeran Pirates. He accompanied Manic and another Space Pirate on a mission to raid a Confederate science facility. He was equipped with low-energy Lockdown shells stolen by the Pirates, as well as a low-energy cloaking device developed by the Kimeran inventor, Velichek.
