The Tyrador IX Colonial Militia was a militia stationed on Tyrador IX in service to the Terran Confederacy.

In 2481, anti-Confederate terrorists attacked the resort town of Elsecaro and targeted off-duty Confederate marines. Lieutenant Arcturus Mengsk defeated the terrorists, making him an acclaimed hero to the colonial militia.

The Colonial Militia are possibly connected to the Knights of Tyrador, who were the defensive force of the planet during the reign of the Terran Dominion.
