Ulaan is a moon[1] once inhabited by the xel'naga.
History
A prophecy was divided into three fragments, each kept at a separate shrine. In 2504, Dark Prelate Zeratul and Sarah Kerrigan were drawn to Ulaan to uncover the prophecy.[2] The two clashed.[3]
Kerrigan built hatcheries to subvert Ulaan. A Daelaam force under Praetor Karass tracked her there and helped Zeratul gather the prophecy fragments.[2]
