Protoss CountEdit

Do you have a video of this panel? I want to go back through and be sure and for something as much of a statement as that (especially since it contradicts later sources on the full scale of the protoss population) I want to be sure we 100% have a solid source on it. Having watched most of the old panels I can't seem to find this. --Subsourian (talk) 01:20, June 10, 2019 (UTC)

I found a video of the panel:
I don't see anything on the protoss population in this, unless I'm missing something. There's some writeups online too that also don't mention the protoss at all. --Subsourian (talk) 01:34, June 10, 2019 (UTC)
There isn't a hard population count, but it does contradict the scale we see. We do have the populations of planets like Shakuras and Slayn by LotV, the main population hubs of the protoss. Shakuras was 194 million (though after the Golden Armada left), and Slayn was 12 million. Aiur protoss would have to massively outnumber the others to a scale we haven't seen in the games themselves. Granted this wouldn't be the first time they went back on scale.
It also contradicts It Will End In Fire a bit, where the death of 8 thousand protoss was a crippling loss of life the likes of which their empire had never seen back in their Golden Age. I'll still add it if you can find a source on it, but the panel so far I can't find anything regarding the protoss aside from some stuff on Zeratul. --Subsourian (talk) 12:11, June 10, 2019 (UTC)
These panels are not complete. I think it was in one of the gaps in the QA. Mckaysalisbury (talk) 04:48, October 8, 2019 (UTC)
