The Venatir Tribe is a little known protoss tribe of the Templar Caste. Its tribal color is brown.

History

The Venatir fought during the Aeon of Strife,[1] though were relatively obscure in the conflict's final stages, unheard of by the Shelak Tribe.[2] With the conflict's end brought about by Khas, the tribe was reluctant to embrace the Khala. Regardless, they were eventually brought into the fold, made as part of the Templar Caste.[1]

On Shakuras, Judicator Aldaris led an entire legion of the Venatir Tribe in revolt against the Dark Templar. The revolt was quelled by the Fleet of the Matriarch.

By 2505 the Venatir Tribe had no representation in the Hierarchy.[3]

Trivia

A group called the "Venetir Scouts" exists.[4]

The name Venatir is likely derived from the Latin word venator, which means "the hunter".
