Ensign Wallace was a Terran Dominion medivac pilot sent on a mission to retrieve Egon Stetmann from Bel'Shir.
Biography
Wallace was part of a team, including Captain Niemi and a Dominion ghost, sent to Bel'Shir to retrieve missing scientist Egon Stetmann. The ghost assumed that Stetmann had been killed or died due to terrazine overdose. However, they were attacked by Tal'darim phoenixes, and forced to land on the surface of the planet. There they wandered toward the terran outpost, only to find it dismantled. Wallace and his comrades were then surrounded by mechanical zerg, and a large harvesting bot named Gary floated down in front of them, guiding them to a cave. There, they discovered the psionic controlling them: Egon Stetmann himself.[1]
Stetmann explained to them that they were to die for their trespasses, which Wallace thought was insane, leading to the ghost smacking him as part of a ruse to convince Stetmann they would work with him. Stetmann explained how he took the terrazine on the planet and gained clarity and one purpose with the planet. However, the Tal'darim arrived, causing him to create Gary and the Mecha Swarm in response. Wallace's surface thoughts revealed he thought Stetmann had created the Mecha Swarm out of fear of the Tal'darim, but the ghost convinced them both to think thoughts of loyalty to Stetmann. He also explained they would help him drive off the Tal'darim, which overjoyed Stetmann, but he demanded the ghost consume a bottle of terrazine in order to commune with the planet.[2]
The ghost took part in an assault on the Tal'darim base alongside Stetmann and his Mecha Swarm. While this was happening, Wallace and Niemi set about repairing the dropship. They managed to get it aerospace-worthy, just in time for the ghost to return after the assault. However, having apparently succumbed to the effects of the terrazine, he incapacitated them both, and brought Stetmann and Gary onto the ship. The force then departed the planet.[3]
