The Winged Brood was an offshoot of Amon's Brood, deployed during the End War. It focused on air-based compositions, and deployed mighty devourers and guardians as well as powerful brood lords.[1]
Game Effect
The Winged Brood appear in Co-op Missions as a potential attack wave Amon can send against the player. They can deploy one of two compositions, one based off of air forces from StarCraft (zerglings, mutalisk, scourge, guardians, devourer, and brood queen), and one based off of more modern broods (zerglings, banelings, infestors, mutalisks, corruptors, brood lords).[1]
